My 21st birthday is in about 3 weeks and my boyfriend and I are trying to find somewhere to celebrate. We live in the rush street area, but unlike most people our age we are not interested in the busy bar scene that seems to common here. Instead, I am looking for a place for drinks and light eats. It would be a big plus if this place had a nice dessert menu also! Basically, If anyone can recommend a good place with a nice, somewhat quiet atmosphere that would be great! I think so far I am most interested in Bin 36 or Fulton's on the River.. if anyone has any other recommendations please let me know. My boyfriend thinks we might have more fun going the Irish pub route...but I don't know for sure.. I need help with this important decision!

Although I do like Bin36 and Fulton's on the River, I'd say you should go someplace a little more fun. Have you been to Cru Cafe? It's a wine bar that has great appetizers and every kind of wine you could want. It's a nice atmosphere too- I think you'd like it. Other places could be SushiSamba if you like sushi. They have great drinks there and the decor is amazing- you feel like you walked into an episode of Sex and the City! Cafe Iberico is great too- the sangria is yummy and you can order all the tapas food or desserts you would like! I hope this helped and you have a great 21st birthday!
